White Cane Safety Day

The Louisiana School for the Visually Impaired will be celebrating White Cane Safety Day on Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Our visually impaired and blind students will commemorate the freedom, independence, and mobility symbolized by the use of the long white cane. A variety of activities including a picnic, route travel, scavenger hunt, and other awareness activities will be held in the downtown Baton Rouge area.
